You can use the information below to identify additional financial support opportunities that you may be eligible to apply for.

ScholarshipUniverse

Once you are an admitted student, you have access to ASU’s ScholarshipUniverse where you can create an academic profile and apply for scholarships you are matched with and eligible for. ASU and the College of Global Futures will use this platform to post future scholarship opportunities, so your profile will remain useful throughout your academic experience. Instructions, tips, and help videos for using ScholarshipUniverse.

Undergraduate students

ASU Lorraine W. Frank Office of National Scholarships Advisement

The ASU Lorraine W. Frank Office of National Scholarships Advisement (ONSA) helps Arizona State University students and alumni compete for prestigious national and international scholarships and fellowships that fund research, international study, professional development, or post-baccalaureate study. Students and recent graduates from all ASU campuses, levels of study, and academic majors or programs can work with ONSA to discover and prepare for fellowship opportunities to support their personal, professional, and intellectual goals.

Tips for a successful application

  • Make sure you are eligible (read the eligibility criteria).
  • Take time to provide meaningful responses to all of the questions being asked.
  • Draft responses to essay questions and have someone else proofread them before you submit them, checking the following components:
    • Have you addressed the question while also authentically conveying why you should receive scholarship support?
    • Have you structured your response using clear, concise, and organized writing?
    • Have you checked spelling and grammar?
  • If the application requires a letter of recommendation or the name of someone who can provide a recommendation, give your recommender a heads up and give them plenty of time to prepare a recommendation. Give them information about the scholarship you’re applying for, including the deadline. Don’t forget to let them know if you are awarded a scholarship and share your appreciation for their time.
