Living on campus
Whether you are a sustainability student with a green thumb, or an innovation in society student with your mind toward the future, our residential and interdisciplinary colleges offer a thriving community where you can leave your mark. Live and study alongside students who share your passions, curiosity and commitment to making the world a better place.
All first-year students admitted to ASU as majors in the College of Global Futures are expected to live on campus. On-campus living provides a welcoming and supportive environment for students as they transition into university life, and also helps in the development of the skills needed for academic and personal success. Here, global futures students learn to access the many resources available to them — through residential programming, intentional experiences and opportunities, and targeted support.
On campus, you will live and learn with socially conscious and innovative Sun Devils from all over the country and world, collaborating on projects, preparing for classes, and sharing your interests and ideas.
As a resident in one of our communities, you will have opportunities to:
- Get involved in the university’s academic and social life right away.
- Feel a sense of belonging on campus.
- Get to know fellow students in the College of Global Futures.
- Study and socialize with classmates where you live.
- Get to know and interact informally with faculty on a regular basis.
- Get to know and interact with the instructional staff.
- Learn about campus resources and services that will help you succeed.
- Participate in special academic and extracurricular activities such as:
- Advising workshop dinners.
- Field trips.
- Campus sustainability projects.
- Community garden volunteering opportunities.
