Rainwater Harvesting in Action
The Arroyo 2025 publication highlights the benefits of rainwater harvesting as a sustainable water management practice. The Storm Smart Schools program, a collaboration between the Sustainability Teachers Academy and the Watershed Management Group, is featured in this report for its efforts to incorporate rainwater harvesting and native landscaping into school curricula across the Phoenix area.

Created in 2023 through generous funding from the Lemelson Foundation, this guide explores efforts made to institutionalize the Engineering for One Planet framework at ASU. It provides a guide for developing similar fellowships across other universities.
