College of Global Futures Student Showcase Fall 2021

Friday December 3, 2021

3–5 p.m. Arizona Time

Each semester, the College of Global Futures Student Showcase features undergraduate and graduate research, applied projects, internships, theses and dissertations. The Showcase will include students from the School for the Future of Innovation in Society, the School of Sustainability and the School for Complex Adaptive Systems. We welcome you to join us – this is an exciting opportunity to see the diversity of work our students undertake and their impact on some of the most pressing challenges our world and communities are facing.

The Student Showcase will be virtual this semester. This webpage will be updated with the presentation schedule and links to the presentation Zoom rooms in the days leading up to the Showcase.

Presentations will run in 10-minute intervals, allotting ample time for questions and answers.

Participation process


Tips and tricks for preparing for the CGF student showcase

Students in the School for the Future of Innovation in Society Undergraduate Research Program (SURF) and College of Global Futures (CGF) Internship Program – Complete the Intent to Participate form by November 20, 2021. Presentations will be submitted as part of your Canvas course.  

All other College of Global Futures students – Complete the Intent to Participate form by November 1, 2021. The form will require you to submit an abstract of 200300 words about the research or applied project you will be presenting.

You will be notified by November 8, 2021, if your abstract submission has been approved. Once approved, you will be asked to upload your presentation to a Dropbox folder using the Submit Presentation link.

We encourage the project information to be in a slide show format instead of a poster. This will make it easier to see and present the project information via Zoom.

The Student Showcase presentation schedule and Zoom links will be announced by December 1, 2021.
